Place de l’hotel de ville, Paris
(by kimdokhac)

Great picture.I remember sitting here for a while when we visited Paris. It’s a beautiful square surrounded by some awe inspiring architecture. We sat on the water fountain next to business men on their blackberry’s and the many other office workers on their lunch. The carousel was full of tourists and children, enjoying the afternoon winter sun. There were also a few old couples walking around and chatting to one another - maybe it was their usual meeting place? An exhibit of pictures blown up, accompanied by stories of Parisian life were taking up quite a large area and made an interesting read and something to look at.A place I’d visit in a heartbeat. There’s still a massive part of Paris that I have yet to explore and photograph.
